About

This blog is intended to record some of my many Peace Corps adventures in Rwanda while also letting friends and family know I am still alive and well.

For those of you who don’t know (or have forgotten), here’s some of the details of my service:  I am scheduled to arrive in Rwanda on February 25, 2010.  I will then spend the next 3 months (give or take) in the capital, Kigali, for training.  After that, they will send me off to a village for the next 2 years to do some sort of health care work.  Keep in mind that I won’t have the luxuries that we enjoy in the States and that I won’t be able to communicate with the greater world everyday.  I’ll do what I can, but I can’t promise anything.

Wish me well!

And as according to Peace Corps regulation: “The contents of this website are mine personally and do not reflect any position of the U.S. government or the Peace Corps.”  I think that covers it.

  1. Tiff – Have you completed your assignment and are back in the US now? I’ve really enjoyed reading your blog as you went along.

  2. It was so good talking with you yesterday. I look forward to reading about your experiences. I pray God’s blessing! May you feel His presence every minute of every day! He has gone before you to prepare the way and will watch over you.

    Much love from NC.
